The Weavings Collection emerges from a deep desire to honor the quiet, often overlooked labor that holds communities together. I always been moved by the way everyday makers—mothers, artisans, elders, and workers—carry cultural memory through their hands. Their gestures, whether weaving, tending, or caring, become acts of continuity. These paintings also grew from my fascination with how patterns become identity. Threads, wings, and textiles echo ancestral practices, reminding me that heritage is not preserved in monuments but in repeated motions passed from one generation to the next. The cholitas, angels, quetzals, and hummingbirds embody resilience and tenderness—figures who protect, nurture, and uplift.
